Honesty, quite a few pitchers seem to be throwing under their usual velocity. Have to wonder if this team is tired.

Yep..either bad coaching letting him go out there.....or Henry hid the fact his arm was hurting.

Was thinking the same thing

Everyone downvoted me when I said he needs a psychologist. He’s a hypochondriac - it can be worked through.

If they knew he wasn’t 100%, why not scratch him and see if you can get something out of him tomorrow and/or Monday?

You basically Wholestaffed it today anyway

frick!

Sometimes you have it in bull pen . Nobody knows but Cole. What pisses me off is that his having to leave changed up CPM game plan. Not just for today but for the series moving on. Still

Are you trying to say Cole Henry is a millennial and therefore pitched poorly today?

Please be saying that, because it might be the dumbest take of the day.

Well the guy that was "off" was a stud for 2 innings much more then a "ready guy: in Fontenot and Hess.
Can you explain the frickery with the Hess and Fontenot? Apparently CPM thought they had the stuff , i guess he was wrong????

Per Brody Miller, Henry told Paul his arm was bothering him after the 2nd inning

Wasn’t he pitching near his velocity the first inning?

Welllll that’s it I’m gonna melt.

As a coach in this situation you tell him to suck it the frick up and get us to Omaha.

You’ve gotta know when to be understanding and when to be tough. Today called for toughness.

Henry was a wimp once he was worked for an inning and Vetmeier gave up a massive 3 run homer.

They said he didn't get above 93 the whole game. He didn't throw a fastball below 93 in the regional.

Yea I’m not one to crush these kids but come on. Henry missed a month despite a clean MRI, had his personal doctor confirm it, and leaves because his arm is “bothering” him?

Henry needs to decide if he wants to pitch or not, sorry.

Um yes you do.

They’ve been plenty accommodating to him - you tell him to play through it this time.
