It accomplished what it seemed like it would. Not much.

Many have tried to reinvent the approach to deception on defense. Some have clearly not been successful.

Bill Parcels always tried to give the other team something new to think about. I loved it.

It would be risky in a short yardage situation or against a quick handoff, but it’s pretty clever in a passing situation.

A smart QB would check to a handoff off tackle any time he saw the look. But for 7+ yards on 3rd downs that’s impossible to read presnap.

did you even watch the first time they ran it? Yes it worked. It threw the quarterback off and it worked just like it needed to.

Most of the idiots here think if a play doesn't result in a loss of 20, then it doesn't work

Right and wrong. It did work the first time, but then after that it failed miserably. There is a reason why we quit running that after 3or 4 times.

This. It may not have been completely effective, but every opponent from here out will have to spend time preparing for it.

Offenses can easily adjust to that since it requires more time to work

That depends. If the offense expects blitz when they see it and we end up in drop 8 out of it, it can definitely still cause confusion.

When the game ended we held them to about 275 total yds on offense and 10 pts. Best game stats this season.

And less than 40 yards rushing vs a team that lives on running the ball.
