“I expected 7-8 wins”
I had us at 10-2 once we got Joe. I didn’t buy into either the lack of talent or the brutal schedule stuff.
But whatever any of us thought was going to happen, it remains 9-3, 5-3 with a shutout to Bama at home, L to A&M, and another bad O performance is not exceeding any LSU football performance I am familiar with in the last decade or so.
If 9 wins exceeds expectations, then there is little doubt we have lowered LSU football expectation.

It tends to work better when you dont promise competing for championships and then lose 3 games the next 2 seasons.

Obviously I’m just showing the amount of talent they have brought in just one calendar year adding to what they already have...everybody watching the game between us and Bama could tell that we have matchup problems on the oline and dline we just don’t have the talent they do on the LOS but I would agree we do in about every other position other than QB it’s just the way it is but I still love my TIGERS!!!

We don't need the talent that they have in order to compete with them.

Do you think that everyone that's scored on Alabama has the type of talent they do? I'd hope you'll say no.
