Is recruiting guards to transfer to tackle the norm or is that something LSU does? The guy's look as low as hell to me

Again. I think a lot of people just vastly under estimate how radioactive Miles was to recruiting the offensive side of the ball in the end.

Our OL depth was just atrocious.

That's another thing people need to grasp.

Alabama has ZERO true Freshman on either side of the LOS two deep trenches. Their starters are
SR - 2
JR - 1
SO - 2

Backups ar3 4 SO and a SR.

LSU starters
SR - 0
JR - 1 transfer
SO - 2
Freshman 2

Note. Zero RS among them.
Our 2 deep? Well, we don't even actually HAVE a two deep because our 2nd string RT and LT is the same dude.

Coach O has been recruiting with us for at least 4 years...where is all the talent? Are we not developing it, or evaluating poorly?

Zero points in 2/3 meetings.

C’mon, man.

e. That simple. We have regressed on offense. Thus the hire has been a failure to this point

Holy shite you are full of shite. You've completely lost your mind.

We are literally the first team whose defense showed ANY ability to keep Bama from scoring at will

That has nothing to do with us not being able to score a single point.

And make no mistake, we have SUBSTANTIAL talent problems on offense

No one is arguing otherwise. But those talent problems are compounded infinitely by terrible offensive coaching.

People keep acting like player talent deficits and coaching problems are mutually exclusive when in fact they complimented each other in a very negative way last night.

Well. I would say that I give basically all coaches a slight pass on year 1 recruiting because recruits are skittish as frick in that situation

Last year was not year 1 for O recruiting at LSU.

LSU recruits elite offensive talent and then squanders them. That's not on the 'talent gap' -- that's on the coaches failing to improve or develop the elite talent they have.

OK, who on LSU's roster for the game would you consider "elite offensive talent"?
Then match them up against the similar player for Alabama and do a comparison. Whoever you pick, Alabama will have two or three players who are better. Not on paper but in real life. You can't pick an OL player. Did you see Alabama throwing them around as usual? Burrow is on the same level as Tua? They have three halfbacks who are all better than ours. They even made their field goal while we missed ours.
