As any auditor would

combined records of teams who beat Iowa was 44-6
Northern Ill- 11-1
Ohio st- 11-1
Michigan st 12-1
Wisconsin- 9-3
Iowa had a lead in all the games at half time.
In the Michigan st game it was only a 4 point game with 10 minutes left when Michigan st did a fake punt on its own 20 that turned into a 50 yard gain and a td.The Northern game Iowa lead the whole game until the end when Iowa threw a pick six instead of just running the ball on Northerns 35 yard line. The Wisconsin game was 14-9 with 6 minutes to go and was not a blow out like some might think. The Hawks had the ball in the Wisconsin red zone 3 times and got no points.I also suggest you to take a look at the Iowa vs Ohio st game on youtube .

Iowa also has finished ranked in the top ten 4 times over the last 10 years so it would be nice to show little respect instead of treating us like were nothing.
2002 8 11–2
2003 8 10–3
2004 8 10–2
2009 7 11–2 Orange Bowl Champions

Regardless of stats, this is not much of a game with Mett at the helm...sorry to say it will be closer than it should with them stacking the box and trying to make AJ beat them. If he plays well we will destroy this team. My only prediction is Hill and Mcgee combine for over 250 and 2 td

They most certainly should stack the box. It would surprise me if they didn't. Still, should this be the case, if AJ can get his timing down with Beckham and Landry, they should be able to make BIG plays in the passing game.

Unfortunately, many of the LSU stats like 3rd down conversions mean very little now since you have a different Qb
Otherwise. Good work

I agree. Although, Jennings brings a different approach to the offense with his mobility. Luckily, he is a pass-first, run-second type of player, which is what you want from a true dual threat QB. He definitely provides Iowa was a new challenge on defense.

They might mean less, but its a stretch to say they mean very little. Lsu was in the bottom half of the country in 3rd down pct last year, at around 40%...with Mett. They jumped nearly 20% in one season..to 58%..first in the country. Same qb, same rb, same WRs...what changed?
Cam Cameron was the big change, from working first hand with QBs, to installing his offense, to calling plays. To ignore his impact on Mettenberger and the offense would be naive. His fingerprints are all over this offense, and Anthony Jennings has been working with Cam for about the same length of time as Mett..he was an early enrollee, and a very dedicated and hardworking player. The surrounding skill players are still here and Cam will again have had a months time with AJ. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the offensive production because Mett went down.

That's a great point. It's incredible how much of a difference Cam has made. I remember before he was hired, having a feeling of anxiety every time our offense was faced with a third down... that feeling no longer exists. I have the utmost confidence in our offense's ability to convert on third down -- whether it's 3rd and 1 or 3rd and 20. I hope that Jennings is able to continue this success, as it's been very nice having such an efficient offense this season.
