Some have compared Will Wade to Nick Saban. Both don't hold back while stalking the sidelines.

Now we find both won't hesitate to process those players who don't fit into the long range plans.

I wish I could go a day without reading about Saban on this board

wut?
Wade's skins consist of a 1st and 2nd round exit in a field of 64.
I like him, but slow ya roll.

what evidence do you have that he wouldn’t do the same thing to Waters?

Context is everything. I never mentioned accomplishments, just style that some have noted to be similar.

The difference is that Will Wade actually dismisses players from his team.

Gotta love people who compare basketballs field of 64+ to a footballs 2-4.

Then add to that Wade being at a non powerhouse, and Saban being at a school where people will bend over backwards to PUT them into the "playoffs."

He's more of a cross between a young Coach K and Bradley Cooper in Limitless. That's what some on here have said anyway.

Will Wade isn't an a-hole so that's one big difference

I can see it from the total absorption as WW eats, sleeps and drinks basketball, and it seems can recruit and coach his arse off. Barring any unforeseen injuries, LSU should be in the NCAA tournament next year.

Seriously, be realistic. He has no record of success. Hopefully, he'll have one at LSU, but right now, he doesn't.

I wouldn't say no success, just not comparable success.
Give the guy a break already, just like you still do JJ.

I've been giving Wade a break today. I suspect the dismissals and suspensions were well deserved and I said so. This is Wade's chance to step up and I hope he will.

Really? Well, some have also compared o to Saban. Neither comparison makes any sense to me at this point in time.

This comparison started because they both inherited similar situations at LSU and if Wade delivers will have both brought their respective programs to new heights. Of course it’s been indulged and people have had fun with it but the original comparison makes sense.
