The biggest problem with LSU offensively (and defensively for that matter) is the continued stubbornness to stick with players with very limited ability. LSU has a strange loyalty to players that do not have the ability to help the team win on a consistent level. Every year we have players that are not measured based on any performance standard. No matter what they do or how bad they are you will find them in the line up every day.

LSU is brilliant at developing pitching but has not been good at developing position players and hitters. With this line up philosophy we will go as far as our pitching staff can take us. There is only so much Dobson or anyone can do with some of the hitters he is given in the everyday line up.

But besides Dawson? Who else should be in the lineup? Just asking because no one besides Cunningham screams any field time appearances
