You will get drummed on here posting about her. Her daddy poo, Dawson, watches this. Board religiously. And I think he and Dobson are, well, you can imagine.

Hahaha you are an idiot. I know her dad and he hardly ever says anything to anybody about anything. If you want to find him he will be standing far away usually by himself watching the game.

I don't know if I have ever seen him speak to Dobson but he is not the type to go talk to the coaches like some of the other's that are involved in the program.

You can always count on a couple of things on softball threads and one of them is educote talking about things that make no sense whatsoever. Have another beer and go to bed.

P.S. But before you bash me educote, we agree on one thing and that is they need to find a way to get Dawson in the line up everyday.

Hey fatsquash! Info I got was she and her fam was butt hurt about how she was being used at Stanford, the man the breakup with her BF, then the transfer. I heard it was allowed because of an injury. So GFU

So, you went from saying she never played at Stanford to now saying she didn't like how they were playing her at Stanford? Which is it? Then you go on and let your true colors, and maturity level, shine with a post that is all over the place.

Don't be mad at me for your mistakes, and there is no reason for the name calling.

You can't claim to love a program and all its about and continually through your words try to tear it down.... These two things do not correlate

don't they have to sit out one year? since she was at LSU at 2016?

In softball, they have to sit out a year if they transfer within the same conference, otherwise they can play immediately

Yeah no shite. I'd love to have a coherent discussion about the team and the games on here, but a few irrational and borderline psychotic "fans" basically ruin it.

Ah, so they told ol educote they do not need his armchair coaching opinions so now he resorts to bashing the team and moreso the coaches. You were passed over for a coaching job I see.

Didn't I read that educote harassed one of the players after the WCWS last year?

But he does get a little butt hurt if you give her too much praise

Frick it. Her old man could cash me ousside if he's got an issue. Nicky is the best athlete I've ever seen in person and I've played against Fournette, Tyrann Mathieu, and Eric Reid, and so on. I've also had close contact with Elfrid Payton.

Former football players I know from LSU who work out at Traction have told me that young Dawson was the best athlete they've seen and Ryan Clark has said so himself.

I'm actually going to make one attempt at a rational discussion about this. Nobody doubts that she is a great athlete here. We all agree on that. But perhaps she still has a little to learn about being a great "Softball player". I'm not saying she isn't great now and I'm definitely not saying she wasn't coached well at Parkview. What I am saying is that perhaps Torina and the coaches are trying to work with her and develop her softball skills a little more so that she can maximize her athletic ability and help the team. This isn't high school ball where being the best athlete on the field is good enough. I think with a little patience, the kid will be ready and will contribute in a big way.

I'm sure she has a ton to learn, like any other young player. But only on the Rant can a SOFTBALL National Player (not athlete) of the Year and a SOFTBALL consensus 1st team All American not be considered a good SOFTBALL Player. Being only a "great athlete" doesn't cut it on the diamond. Ask Michael Jordan.

Don't know about all of that but it wouldn't surprise me at all. educote apparently has anger and envy issues.
The way educote babbles reminds me of the ul-l fans. Those clowns ultimately demand that their AD and coaches share every minute detail of the day to day operations and inner workings of the program, players, etc., and then bitch and bash when nobody listens to them. That's the sign of a high school program. That's the mentality educote has.

This is you warning, Mr. Ducote. If I see that you've spoken negatively about a player or a family member again, then you will be gone. And I would advise Chicken to permaban you from the site.

Have a great rest of your night.

Disclaimer - Beth Torina knows more about coaching softball than I will in a dozen lifetimes. It's what she does and she's very good at her job. I'm not freaking out about anything I've witnessed in the first four games. Beth has it under control.

From what I've seen thus far there is no discernible, non disciplinary, reason why Nicky Dawson isn't on the field.

The notion that she has to learn the college game is absurd. Her skill levels are off the chart.

She needs to play somewhere. If not at second I suspect it would take her all of 15 minutes to learn to play leftfield.

I'm pretty certain Beth Torina knows this as well and I would expect to see Nicky playing a lot of softball in 2017.
