i'm think....and there is a great chance that i'm wrong....that they seed 1-16 in softball instead of just 1-8, and they set up the bracket 1vs16 2vs15 etc.

Clearly you don't keep up much with softball - of course they are top 8. The 51 - 4 ULL team beat Arizona State 9 - 2 in the regular season and have a very strong offensive lineup. It was absurd they matched the Lafayette regional with the Tempe regional - somewhat of a lack of respect. Ranked 6th at the end of the season, they were seeded 14th in the tournament, despite their 49 - 4 record at the time with key wins over Arizona State and Michigan.
With apologies to their fine pitching duo, if they had Fico, I think they would have enough to win the whole thing!

That just means both can go to the WCWS, and I think someone said they are on opposite sides of the bracket, where we would beat them for the National championship

Right you are tigerbait and there are some arguments to be said from both sides.
20 scoreless innings is amazing. A&M had 18 runs in their other 2 games. I hope they can hang on here.
