For ULL to surpass LSU, they (ULL) would have to have a worst softball program, which they don't, which was proven again today. (And ULL ace pitcher has been hurt all year)
That's why he or she said, "In the last few years" and that is correct.

they have always been a better program...why do you think the number one softball pitcher in the nation chose ULL over LSU last year

I would have To respectufully disagree. The Lady Cajuns have had FIVE CWS appearances. I mean, it's not like LSU would hire YG from a program that was in worse shape. Cajuns never missed a beat when she left.

Otherwise, she is still a really good coach people, (and she does not get props from Cajun fans very easily). Pitching is still the focal point of softball. (and LSU is in great shape) 1-0 scores and no hitters are actually pretty common for those of you who just tune into softball for postseason.

Yea, what Robicheaux does with such a small budget is impressive to those who REALLY KNOW college baseball. I think he'd be a perrenial power at a school with money. One of the best pitching coaches you'll find at the college level.

What was the name of the guy who left LSU for Baylor to coach softball?

Anyone know how has he done at Baylor?

I agree. Very unlikely that they would make the move though.

Just think, a few days ago there was great concern about going to California to face UCLA. At least that's no longer a worry.

LSU softball is stagnant and change is needed.

Yvette Guirard has had plenty of time to do something here and hasn't ... she's paid ridiculously well and the AD has given her a beautiful "state of the art" stadium and good financial resources ... So WHERE are the players and WHERE are the championships ?? She doesn't even win the SEC ... She's taken the reputation mileage of taking ULL to the WCWS as far as it can go ... Time for a change ... She's not bringing in the elite players to match the elite facilities and the elite program she promised ... She left ULL because she thought LSU could offer more support and she could go to the next level with this program ... LSU held up it's end of the bargain .. She's just not it ...

nobody knows except for her why she left USL for LSU, but i'm sure it was money, which i don't blame her for doing it. who wouldn't.
