i remember 20 years back. kristen schmidt for us had 3 starts in one day in the WCWS.

That’s one of the negatives to softball for me. All you have to do is get one great pitcher, surround her with average players and you could win it all.

I remember that. I think it was a winner-to-the-Championship Game against maybe Michigan? Mich had a comfortable lead in the 6th when Yvette finally took Schmidt out. Her arm basically had fallen off by that point. Giving the relief to TD Favorite Emily Turner in her freshman season.
