we can lose 2 games and still win the natty

UCLA pitching is very very hittable. I think they are a much more favorable matchup compared to FSU's staff.
UCLA is known for power and offense but LSU has shown that it can contain powerful offenses.
Doyle homered twice earlier this year against UCLA
I am at a loss of words with Doyle right now, it makes no sense. It seemed like she was turning the corner then for the past three weeks had completely spiraled backwards. I don't know what Dobson is tellin her to do. Now she is completely erratic at the plate, swings at every first pitch. She is now just swinging at junk and wasting at bats. Its mind blowing that Dobson hasn't told her to stop first pitch hacking. Now she looks like she is completely guessing. Its beyond aggravating. Zero reason she shouldn't be hitting above .3000

Griggs jaquish and Landry should come through. Need Andrews and Sanchez to keep hitting. However the wild cards are Doyle and Springfield
If they can get bats going Lsu will be in great shape. Huge if. Quinn and serret are anyone's guess as to whether they show up or not. We desperately need consistent hitting this wcws.

That seems to be the team that won't die. It looked like they might not even get out of their regional but Tulsa couldn't put them away.

Pitching is the way we win. We are not good in the middle of our order. 5 and 6 hole are probably the least productive hitters in the country for a top 25 team. It's not everyday a team with a couple of 230/240 hitters at 5 & 6 with zero power can advance to the WCWS.
Griggs, Jaquish, Landry and the Freshman will have to carry this team. If we get anything out of Sanchez or Quinn it is just a bonus. Let's just hope they make the routine plays and record outs for Hoover, Wali & Smith. Serrett is a bit of a wild card. Sometimes she is dangerous, sometimes she is completely invisible.
If we play good defense and pitch we have a chance to beat anybody. If we hit at all in the middle of the order we win it.
Ride the arms of the horses the way we have all year and hope we hit it and catch it enough to advance.
