it was. she was the cutoff in case they did not need to go home which they did not. smart bang bang play. too many times i have seen a team have a play at the plate only to be cutoff which let run score instead of allowing throw to get to catcher. luckily we made sure runner was not going home and she grabbed it and threw to second. she was reading the play all the way.

This is the softball equivalent of LSU baseball having to beat 55-5 Texas A&M twice at 1989 College Station Regional to go to Omaha. Great job ladies!

thanks for update. we have had major problems with UF in OKC the last few tries. oh well time to beat them and get over hump. hopefully TAMU beats them and we beat UCLA to start out.

I think these last threee weekends proves LSU is capable of beating everyone. They are capable of hitting anyone when they look to attack and obviously pitching is top notch

off topic... the Baylor/Arizona game is on my TV now...
Baylor just had the game leading run (in the top of the 6th inning) get erased b/c the base runner missed 3rd base before heading home and scoring. It was the 3rd out of the inning.

you do not miss that in college, big girl travel ball, high school, junior high, small girl travel ball....hell they are taught this in rec ball to touch all bases. UNBEIEVABLE
