I do hope we can host. Have to fly to Los Angeles on Saturday the 20th and would love to attend the regional opener on Friday. I guess if we get sent to the UCLA regional I can watch them there.

I think this will be the lineup going into the postseason:

Griggs CF
Jaquish C
Landry RF
Doyle 1B
Sanchez 3B
Quinn 2B
Dawson/ Springfield DP
Serrett SS
Andrews LF

Good win, we need them however we can get them. It was nice to see Springfield finally get a hit, I bet that felt good. She took a pitch at her shin and drove it over the infield which was great to see. Doyle just continues to impress, she hits the ball well.

Andrews needs to always be starting in LF period though. We still got a lot of work but just find a way to manufacture runs, pitch the LSU way, play solid defense. If we can do that you never know what can happen

Tigers are the 6 seed will play Missouri Wednesday night. Win and play Tennessee, advance from that play Auburn most likely.

I think the reason Andrews didnt start in left field is because she missed a ball because she T-rexed. It was a routine play and she missed the ball, maybe a little difficult but not something a college level player should miss.

I agree that play needs to be made. To be fair we have players who have made some just as bad mistakes, with many more errors and way less offensive production and they weren't pulled right then and there.

Andrews just takes bad angles at times to the ball but going forward she is the best option in LF. She might take awkward angles to the ball at times but she isn''t a complete liability out there.

Whats most concerning is Sanchez and Serrett on the infield right now. There is zero doubt Serrett is just phenomenal defensively but she has gotten a little careless towards the end of the season on the defensive side. Sanchez makes a lot of really nice plays in terms of catching and blocking the ball for the most part. What scares me with her are her throws constantly really low or pulling Doyle or Quinn off the bag.

Hopefully Smith can heal up quickly for post season. Gorsuch will be more important than ever now. Just from other players comments they seem extremely excited about what she can bring to the circle. I was really pleased with some of the things I saw yesterday.

Sanchez's throws are weak i dont know if she is doing this to prevent overthrowing the first baseman or what.

I think Serret is just tired, she has played every inning of every game. What would we do if she was hurt/ or sick? LSU has been lucky in that sense.

Thornhill needs work with her hitting. She is just really long and sluggish. No power. But she is good on defense. It's a lot easier to fix Andrews' defensive issues than to fix Thornhill's batting problems.

Waljasper is going to be doing what Paige Parker did last year with her pitch count out in the stratosphere.
