The LSU game would have made you throw your hat, at least the offense.

18 runners left on base...NCAA Tournament record. Bases loaded none out bottom 12 with A. Sanchez, Sunseri, and S. Sanchez up....and can't score.

But Sunseri in the circle was a hero. Gave up 4 in the first on a walk, several hits, and a couple of bad defensive plays, then absolutely shut the door. 12 straight zeros.

18 LOB is ridiculous, but at least we had that many runners to begin with (if your glass is half full)

Looks like there will be heavy rain until about 5ish then it clears up

Looking like it will be a long day, which gives Tech even more rest after playing late last night

Does tech have to beat us twice?

If LSU doesn't do their best impersonation of the Bad News Bears and give up 4 runs in the first inning it shouldn't matter. 4 runs first inning, 0 runs the next 12 for Tech.

Bad thing is Amanda Sanchez in what was essentially two games went 0-fer. Shemiah Sanchez went O-fer. Thornhill went O-fer.

The SEC had 13 teams make the tournament. 11 are still playing on the final day of regionals (dependent upon the UGA game that was suspended yesterday). 2 SEC teams are eliminated.

Of the 11 SEC teams still playing six teams have one loss. Five of those are on the road. Only Ole Miss is hosting and has a loss.

Others of interest:
Texas was the only host team to lose on the first day. They made it to the final day with one loss. They have to beat Houston twice today to advance.

Minnesota will play the winner of the suspended Georgia vs Drake game. They will have to win one game to advance and host the winner of the Baton Rouge regional.

U-La-La has 0 losses. They will play Ole Miss (1 loss) today at 2:00 PM. Ole Miss would have to win twice to win their regional. The winner will face the winner of the Tucson regional.
