They looked like the bad news bears last night. They did everything they could to give the game away and had horrible luck on top of it.
The Arky CF was throwing the ball in as a runner was going home. The pitcher acted like she was going to cut it off to keep the hitter at first. She let it go and it either hit the rubber on the mound or a divot and bounced and rolled towards the first base dugout. Two runs scored.
They just could not create or catch a break. It was hard to watch.
