A reliable source from the TV crew says that the NCAA rep here wanted to move the games up a couple of hours, but was vetoed by the NCAA higher ups.

ETA.. Some of the parents have to go home because they work tomorrow. Plus many others who traveled in have to go home too. Since I'm retired I got a free room at the casino and am waiting it out at the buffet.

Wonder what the attendance will be tomorrow if we get to play.

Is it just me or has weather influenced more games the last 2-3 years than the last 20 years. I'm talkin football, baseball, softball.

What was the scheduled network situation today? Wonder if one of the networks had today's game scheduled for TV and that's why the NCAA vetoed it.

It was really dumb not to play while the forecast was clear this morning. the ncaa is dumb anyways, hopefully we can find a way to play tonight

I think Beth and the Mcneese coach need to rip the NCAA a new one, what a dumbass decision when they knew good and well it would be nasty this afternoon

LSU Softball just tweeted it's still raining and that the field will take some time to get back in playing order.

One reason you have more weather delays now is the detection of lightning within 8 miles and then mandatory 30 minute wait from last strike.

No, I agree- they are over worried about a million to one chance something wrong will happen...
