Because ULL wants so badly to be relevant and be the top dog in the state at anything but they will never realize that it can’t happen nor will it ever happen. LSU is and always will be the head dog in this state.

Yeah but still. Not even a hit against La Tech has gotta hurt. It was a PT squeeze and it got her and Bourg. Bourg came back though and Shemiah has basically proved Beth right.

Not gonna trash Satchell or her family. Many parents at that level feel as their kid is Big Time. She went to Texas Tech, got to play in a Power Five conference, and was hitting over .300 in her Senior season. Hell Amanda was damn near 0fer and Shemiah may have been this weekend. Kudos to her career and glad she was a Tiger.

I am not going to trash Satchell. Her dad's comments and feelings are another story. The reality is Satchell was not ready and was not being successful in practices/scrimmages so she never saw the field. Satchell even said this week she missed LSU and the culture down here. She transferred so she could try to get playing time. I am not mad at her for that, you only have 4 years.
It wasn't until her senior year at Texas tech where she was able to hit and actually be apart of the every day play, both on defense and at the plate. I don't think there is any ill whatsoever between Satchell, Torina and LSU. It was a case where she was behind the depth chart so she explored new waters for some playing time.Her dad is irrelevant to me. One of the big issues these days in college softball is these over active parents who cause problems.
I think LSU has actually dodged some bullets over the years with a couple transfers. The parents were a bigger issue than the player on the roster. It can cause a strain and issues in a program. And its not the players fault at all.

So UGA leads Drake 4-2 in the 5th when they resumed tomorrow.

You know better than I do so maybe I am most definitely over reacting. Her high school coach is the one that really pissed me off but like you said that isn’t Taylor’s fault and she hasn’t said anything that I’m aware of.

Five Straight Supers for Beth.... especially with this team that we all had doubts about going into the season. To slump at the plate, come into the tournament struggling, and advance is big time, but now the expectation is to get to OKC.

Next week is going to be a major challenge. Let me say this, Minnesota's offense is not as good as Texas Tech's. Minnesota has limped against all their SEC opponents this year. LSU has a legit chance to get to OKC but we will need to have smart at bats and have some timely hits.
I truly believe we can do this.
Sunseri's has really developed this year. What a major jump from her freshmen year where she had like only two pitches she could throw.

Happy for the girls winning and going to the Supers!
On another note, next to the Tigers I will pull for the La teams & always hope ULL can advance just like us. On the Satchel issue, I saw her hugging Beth after the game so I would think any sour grapes is just her dad blowing smoke but it's water under the bridge now...end of discussion.

All of the supers are slotted Th-F-Sa or F-Sat-Sun. 3 start Thursday and the others on Friday.
Since OKC starts on a Thursday, they try to have it all done by Sunday.
I would definitely say we will start Friday, though.
