Hire friends and former players you get what you get. LSU is an elite school, we have won nattys in many of our sports we should be able to get elite assistant coaches!! Some coaches don’t want diversity of thought though!! It’s curious the only spot that has been better is hitting and he had no affiliation with LSU having actually coached at another school.

What the hell has happened to Heavener in the last month

In her first 13 games, she was 9-1 with an ERA of 1.76 and 95 strikeouts in just 63 2/3 innings

In her last 7 games, she is just 2-3, with an ERA of 5.59 and just 33 strikeouts in 32 innings.

She’s a freshman and now teams have tape on her. Competition is much better and her confidence is down

If you are talking about Berzon, she was a good pitcher the last two years, but IMO, not an All - American. This year she is below average and I've been saying that since the beginning of the year.

She won a lot of games early, but there was always 2 or 3 runners on base most of her innings and she managed to pitch around that against non-conference teams. You can't do that in the SEC.

Maybe she has an injury or maybe it is mental. I can tell you one thing. She won't be an All-American this year.

She has been below average for most of the SEC schedule, it would help if she had a real pitching coach. IMO she ain’t never been a AA, smoked vs UL in a regional, smoked by Stanford and smoked this yr…she quits when things get tough

Facts… just look at results this year.. gave up leads to South Carolina, Texas A&M, Texas..When Stanford led off with a hit late in the game last yr she cratered, she cratered vs Florida up 5-1 in the bottom of 6th last yr in the deciding game. It’s not personal I’m sure she is a great kid but a great pitcher she is not

Chris Guillot has showed up and has taken over the cheers and the crowd has yelled the loudest in a long time... old wrastlim belt dude didn't even join. Made it worth the trip from Houston today for baseball and softball.

Awesome day. Watching baseball and softball playing so well was worth the trip from Houston and going home tonight. Take care Tigers!
