Softball - vs. ATM 6pm SECN

Hope to see Sellman on the mound this evening. We really need to sweep this series with a tough road match-up coming up next weekend vs. Mizzou. Hopefully Sellman can go the distance today so we can have Walljasper ready to start tomorrow and have Hoover ready to come in if things begin to go downhill for her. Glad to see AJ get a couple hit last night. Also, history might be made today if SJ gets an RBI. She is currently tied with the all time single season leader, Ashlee Ducote at 63. Looks like a few of Ashlee's all time single season records may fall this year.

She has pitched 8 complete games this season. Gane 2 vs Oklahoma was one of them.
Selman & Walljasper are the correct spellings...just FYI...not criticizing

Selman will not start this game. I'd bet on Corbello even though her last couple have been rough.

Well, the final UF-UGA game was canceled today, so LSU won't be getting any help from UGA. Though, with two more wins in this series LSU will be alone atop the SEC standings with two tough weekend series to go.

She was great in game 3 of the UK series, but hasn't been the same since. If she does start, I hope that Beth has her on a very short leash in case she gets rocked early.

To note, Ashlee Ducote accomplished her offensive feats during the softball "dead bat" era. To think that she has as many records still standing as she does with the hot bats the players have access to today is a tribute to how far ahead of her time Ducote was. It is a shame she is not in the LSU HOF.

I agree. Had Ashlee had these bats they play with today, she might set records that could never be broken. She is the best non pitcher to ever don the purple and gold, no question.
