False if you were committed to basketball like Kansas.

Could you say the same if Kansas was committed to football like LSU?

None of the above coached as LSU, you dumb frick!!!!!

Woodward only "lost" the pathetic herd of mouth breathing Wade lovers that post on the Rant.

You are a complete fool if you believe that they represent a "substantial" portion of the LSU fan base.

Sat out three years for misleading the NCAA.

Only one of the charges against Will Wade, he has many more.

In a vacuum, what you say is ONE BILLION PERCENT accurate.

I believe the problem that most Wade supporters have (including me), is the uneven enforcement policies of the NCAA. This is why I personally would have moved heaven and earth to organize our response as "fLuck you, when you start investigating st. Krysweski and the other blue bloods with the same vigor as us, then we'll face the music."

The NCAA is hanging by a motherfLucking thread. All it would take is the top 30ish schools to break away and form their own football organization to have the NCAA banished to irrelevancy. I believe if LSU committed itself to cajole these schools into leaving, it wouldn't be that difficult. The money distribution among those 30ish would be 2-3 times what it is now depending on which league they left, and how much the distribution was there. This threat would be sufficient to back the NCAA THE FLUCK OFF.

Wade and what he was building here was worth fighting for. Whether it was daddy in-law pulling rank on Scott, or Scott STUPIDLY getting in a pissing match with a coach that was building a monster here, we caved. Other schools under investigation have demonstrated the proper way to deal with these hypocritical pricks. For whatever reason, we bend over and take it.

Maybe so, but tell why doing it right before the tourney was the best thing to do for the players and program?

Woodward didn’t lose most reasonable and common sense LSU fans Wade deserved to be fired.

Why does Will Wade deserve a pass

Dude let it go. He fired him because he could. WW was toxic and dirty and LSU needed to get him away from the program so the stench would begin to subside. Plus he wasn't that great of a coach anyway.

WW did not walk on water. He was not the greatest recruit that ever lived. He was not the next Dean Smith. However, he is replaceable by someone that will probably make you realize how irrational and emotional the whining twats are being about this change.

A bunch of idiots on the rant is not a substantial portion of the fanbase

Also 99% of the people mad on here don't spend enough money on LSU to matter to them

And after the football teams greatly improves this season this whole wade saga will be forgotten

They all used a bag man. Wade was the only genius to link it back to his personal finances.

Wade was likely on the cusp of making a deep run but now we’ll never know.

The Wade Brigade is the most delusional subset of the fan base... How was WW on the cusp of anything?.. Did you not watch this 15-1 team crumble with WW at the helm this year ? How does the Wade Brigade act like this did not JUST happen ?..it's mind boggling.. the only reason he got players was because he paid the most (now I do give him props for using some of his own money for this purpose)

No sir not really. I just disagree. I would have made the NCAA put up or shut up. Then reveal all the violations of their darlings...Duke..Kansas..Kentucky and North Carolina.

If I went down so would they. NOW, from what we have read did Wade make some mistakes? NO DOUBT.

But he wasn't alone and I would let the NCAA know that if I went down, all the dirt I had on the above programs would be "leaked" to some news agency.
