So Whose Fault is it?

Is it because O left us with a program that was ran into the ground? Or is it Kelly’s fault because he can’t beat top 10 teams?…. The trick is you can’t say both…. Downvote away…..

It can be a combination of both. Not everything is mutually exclusive. I would say O is the reason we can’t beat top 10 teams but Brian Kelly was the reason we got blown out yesterday.

What was our record the past two seasons? Start there.

Denbrock.
A good OC makes us at least creative.

The trick is it's called nuance discussion with critical thinking. Both can be right. BK can do a helluva lot better than what you saw yesterday. Nobody expect the team to be good this year but you should see improvement every single game no matter how many losses they have. At home, that's all time embarrassing for any LSU team. They were not even competitive. Unacceptable.
If this is what we going to get from him deflecting blame implying he doesn't have talent and then not acknowledging his own stubborn decisions cost the team early yesterday on top of not doing the best he could to put the players in the best position by making 2 BBQ hires that anyone with eyes could see were bad hires.
So no, BK can kindly frick off on the lack of talent comment when he's just as accountable for the losses both times this season. These are guys just entering adulthood and not professional players. They need to develop. Meanwhile, he's paid 10 million a year to figure it out.

The fault is with people who want simple answers to complex questions

That’s a fair answer. Our coaches coached yesterdays game like the typical coach who knows his team is out-matched. They took unnecessary risk. On the rare occasion those things work, you can beat a team that is more talented than you. Yesterday was not that day.

People don’t realize how bad O left this program. While we have talent, we have 1 deep talent and some big gaps at several positions. O’s big sell was recruiting and he didn’t do it well

Is this even a question? The program is where it is right now because of O. That’s not even questionable.
The 2018, 2019, and 2020 classes should make up the upper classmen of this roster and there’s like 19 guys total still left. Not even an entire recruiting class when you make up 3 total classes.

How many went Pro early?
Just because this staff overvalued players in the Portal, doesn't make it Orgeron's fault.
Brennan, McGlothern and Ricks were still on the roster when O was fired.

I thought Lsu had top 5 recruiting class in 19 and 20. According to TD, LSu has more talent than anyone.
How is that reflective or Orgeron leaving the team depleted? Lots of talent there.
Plus. Transfer portal. That's a game-chamger too.

Overvalued? This team would be an absolute mess if it weren’t for the guys from the portal.
