The goal is to have frickin fun with our displeasure.
It's saying "Heyyyy, we didn't like that call so we will make it known."
We know it's petty and won't effect change. It's just a statement from a dedicated fan base leading up to a big game.

Nothing more. Nothing less.

For me it’s simply making a statement. Conspiracy theory aside, there is an obvious lack of consistency throughout the SEC in officiating (mostly regarding the targeting penalty). Whether that’s because the current rules are impossible to interpret or something more, the current targeting rules need alterations. They don’t take into consideration whether a player actually is trying to hurt another player through forceful contact in the head area. Devin White recieved the same punishment as a player spearing another player square in the head leading with the crown of the helmet. These two things are not created equal.

On another positive note, this entire campaign will bring a LOT of eyes to next Saturday and how the game is called. In theory, we should have one of the fairest officiated games we’ve had in a long time. Maybe even a little favorable with the officials trying to be as unbiased towards Alabama as possible due to the national scrutiny.
