If you could only recruit in 3 states as a Football head coach, with your home state being 1 of those 3. What two other states are you doing your recruiting in? This should be interesting.

Every answer will be some combination of Texas, Florida, California, Georgia, or Louisiana. A few might pick Ohio.

Not really. If you’re in Louisiana the only argument is which states you’ll choose from CA, TX, and FL.

1) Florida - Speed, speed and more speed. Athletes everywhere and huge population and produce incredible Dlineman.

2) Texas - Big men and QBs. Produce them like a factory in Texas and with its size its essentially likely recruiting 3 separate states. Hell Dallas and Houston are gold mines by themselves.

3) California - Mostly a population thing but man do they produce stud QBs. Quality skill positions as well especially in SoCal.

4) Georgia - My god do they produce a bunch of stud olineman over there. Combine that with all the athletes and now they’re producing quality QBs (Fromm, Lawrence, Fields). I could be easily convinced to move them in front of California. I love the Georgia ball players

5) Louisiana- this was actually close for me between LA and Ohio but Nola is the difference maker with a major hotbed of world class athletes.

Florida and Texas are the easy answers imo. The only correct answers to me honestly are Florida, Texas, Georgia or California. While I may prefer some Louisiana quality you just can’t compete with the larger populations. Think about how often we produce top flight Lineman and QBs. It’s rare.

Sleepers lately have been South Carolina and Alabama. Have had some unusually quality classes in those states the past few years.

Top three should always be Texas, Florida, California. That's the top tier, anyway you slice it.

For my $$ I'd take Texas and Florida.

Louisiana, Texas, and Florida should be the only answers here.

I would assume everyone's choices will come from the following list:

California
Texas
Louisiana
Ohio
Georgia
Florida

We just had the best season in the history of college football with a roster that was nearly 60% from Louisiana. I think we’re competing just fine

just going by rivals state by state.

ohio is next.

Georgia next.
