Besides Bama, what program would you classify as top tier and will consistently perform better than LSU over the next few years? Maybe Fla St? Other than them, I got nothing.

Go to the national championship game two years ago.
Come within one first down and/or a defensive stop from making another national championship appearance last year.
But we have one rebuilding year after being absolutely decimated by the draft and we're mediocre.
You stupid fricks really do amaze me.
If the team was any team other than Alabama, the outlook would be different. Problem is that everyone here has such an inferiority complex, they have no other choice but to complain and whine and predict doomsday
I'd like to go back to 2008 and bump these same exact threads only 3 years later, they're playing in a national championship game.

They are not similar at all.
k. I'm not getting into particulars of the scheme of each but all run a fast paced offense and want to spread the field. I assumed cotton was thinking you can only win with a pro-style offense in the SEC when he said Kelly wouldn't be successful in the league.

years
Agreed....but compare Bowden's last 9 years to Miles 9 years at LSU and THAT is not debatable. Compare any other coach in college football to Miles last 9 years and you can count the number of comparable records on 1 hand.

FSU would still be competing for champs sports bowls with bobby. That's not even debatable.

Why hasn't that happened in Alabama since Saban was hired?
This is the entire freaking problem. Fans who have hopelessly been mindfricked by Saban.
People have to just come to grips with the fact that Saban is on some John Wooden type stuff right now. It's a historic run that took some luck (which is over because they aren't beating FSU).
People look at Bama and think it could've happened here. It probably couldn't have happened anywhere else, even if we had Saban.
I wouldn't doubt that John Wooden got a lot of good coaches fired during his run, coaches that were otherwise performing well, that just couldn't beat him.

So that offense beat an SEC team

We're not mediocre were clearly the second or third best team in the SEC still and we outplayed Alabama and the entire first half and part of the third-quarter

I only meant what I said. That Chip Kelly has an abysmal record vs SEC teams. That is an undeniable fact.

It really is pathetic how obsessed our fanbase is with that man and that team.

think Miles was winless vs. SEC teams before coming to LSU

Did I say anything about that offense? I don't think I did. I said that Chip Kelly has an abysmal record vs SEC teams.
Last time I checked Chip Kelly no longer was a member of the Oregon coaching staff.

2001 SEC CG through 2008 BSCNCG.
Holy shite balls. We won the SEC and had one of the greatest seasons in the history of college football in 2011. What the f**k are you talking about?

The problem is:
1. Saban was our coach and the fan base was divided when he left
2. The fan base was divided on the Miles hire
3. The fan base was divided when Saban went to Bama
4. Bama is in our conference
5. Bama is in our division
6. We have to play Bama at least once every year
7. They've been stomping us in the ground lately
How many teams can say all that around the country.
One.
Just one.
The complex is deserved.

If we lose to A&M, we'll finish the season FIFTH IN THE SEC WEST ALONE.

and he is apparently mediocre according to yall.
Why would you want to replace mediocrity with mediocrity?
