I now recall another one of the advantages of being divorced. For males it is practically a second chance. While it is nice to have a "cat" somewhere in the house for when you need one, there is a lot to be said for friends with benefits. Nah, I am going to enjoy the hell out of this season!

When I first started dating my wife I made one rule: LSU comes first. I told her that LSU has been around a lot longer than her and it'll be there a lot longer after she's gone. So far it's working well but we'll see when I pull her off the Jamaican beaches to watch the LSU-Arkansas game.

My ex husband hated football. He wanted to do "family things" on the weekend. During football season.
I can't count the number of times I had to sneak into another bedroom at his parents' house to watch the game because his family wasn't into it.
It's nice being able to fully devote my attention where it belongs.
