I’m not saying it’s not. I think it’s absurd to make the leap and imply he approves of pedophilia. The incident occurred in 2012 and Casey never condoned the act. He actually said he was praying for the family for this being brought into the public and them having to deal with it all over again.

I don’t think that Casey condones pedophilia either, and again I am sure there is more to it than we know. However, if Heimlich was a bench player and not an ace he is kicked off the team. That isn’t the type of coach we need right now even if he is amongst the best to ever coach.

You right. Raping 6 year olds is a real 15 year old move. You should just forgive and forget after 5 years. I’m sure the little girl and her family have the guy over for Christmas every year.

Yet Casey let the guy back because he could pitch well. He never informed the team that he was a registered sex offender. That alone should get you kicked off of the team.
I don’t think Casey was covering for the kid, and I bet he knows more about the details to keep him around. However, we should go no where near Casey because of this. LSU needs to show it isn’t a win at all cost program right now. This isn’t just paying players or the like either. This would be a monumentally terrible hire in my eyes even if it works out on the field.

I would agree with everything in this if y’all had moved away from Will Wade. LSU stuck to their guns with him (and rightfully so) so why move from Casey? He brings NO ncaa baggage whatsoever. The NCAA loved him at oregon state.
