Keep in mind mett had been going to Uga camps since he was a kid. He can credit most of his development to bobo and Richt. We were lucky he fell into our lap

Then no wonder Hutson Mason sucks because they did a shitty job. He was awful until Cam worked with him, and that's his opinion not mine.

AJ has had an off season as well now. It's clear hes not on that level. But this thread is about miles and qb development. And he had a guy with NFL calibur talent and it took coach CC to fix him

So you gtfo

I didn't mean to just focus on Mett. He's just the icing on the cake. My point being we have all this NFL talent and no hardware to show for it, and people satisfied by living in the past or giddy on Sundays by being able to say there's yet another LSU player that left us early...

he went from sucking in the beginning of 2012 to really good in 2013

that was under Les

if he went from good to bad you all would say Les killed his progression

Logic has no place in this massive pity party.

So a true soph isn't on the level of a fifth year senior with a prototypical NFL build and three years starting experience? Thanks for the revelation jackass.

So you're simultaneously arguing that Les ruins QBs while also pointing out he hired the guy who fixed Mett's game, and proceeded to let him do that.

I really hope some of you don't have jobs that require critical thinking.

Mett is starting as a rookie in the nfl but he couldnt beat out JJ/JL his first year here.

This is the falsehood that's constantly repeated around here. What does "couldn't beat out" mean? Do you know?Where you there?

More than likely, talent wise he COULD beat out JJ and JL, who couldn't beat them out? They both sucked. The real argument is why Les Miles wouldn't let Mett on the field? Trust? He's new? He hadn't 'earned his keep' yet? This is the problem with Miles, he demands loyalty and perseverance for years first, before he trusts you and lets you on the field at QB. The whole philosophy just flat out sucks.

Again. Im referring to MILES and qb development. Im glad he hired CC to coach them. I still dont understand what you're trying to prove. I can have two opinions. Just because it's not FIRE EVERYONE or KEEP EVERYONE doesnt mean im breaking my argument

Maybe your critical thinking is shite

Absolutely. He didn't throw him into the fire before he was ready, provided him with a great QB coach and ran a pro-style offense that allowed Mett to flourish.

Somebody must have forgotten to tell Stephen Rivers this. He obviously transferred for no good reason and would have been LSU's starting QB in 2014.

Hutson isn't terrible the problem is he is following the all time leader in the sec in most categories. Take a look at the majority of qbs Richt and bobo have had a Uga. David Greene, DJ Shockley, Matt Stafford, Joe Cox(was the worst), Aaron Murray and now Hutson.

2 of those have a few significant SEC records, 1 was a number one pick, almost all have been on an NFL roster.

I don't think there is any other SEC team that has that claim with QBs.

Yes Cam did wonders for Mett, but you would be an idiot to think Richt and bobo are just as responsible for him. Anybody wonder why once Cam left Baltimore went on a run and won the Super Bowl. Cmon.
