Much easier to point the finger at a guy that wasn’t even in the thread when you got proven wrong by your own post. By your own request, I might add.

Why did you, yes you, turn a baseball thread that you started into a thread about O. Isn’t that a bit odd?

It is an NCAA absurd rules issue. An HC can fly a kid in from Hawaii, all expenses paid. But he can't buy a hungry kid a cheeseburger in an unscheduled visit.

They installed the card access and gave him a card because he had to contact student managers every time he wanted to use it on off hours.
That means he had access to the batting cages whenever he wanted. Then he was given a card to get in whenever he wanted.

Where does it say Bregman wasn’t allowed in to access the batting cages?

quote:

Because Alex routinely would call student equipment managers, requesting they drive to the baseball stadium to open the cages. The calls would come in, sometimes as late as 11 p.m. or midnight. An equipment manager would unlock the cages and wait while Alex and sometimes others hit. An hour later, the manager would poke his head into the cages: “Just turn off the lights when you leave,” they’d say.LSU’s batting cages are now accessible to each baseball player through a key card-swiping system installed before the 2014 season.
Since 2014 every baseball player has a card to access the batting cage building whenever he wants.

You have problems reading. There are no issues with LSU baseball players having access to getting their hitting reps. WTF is your agenda?

What empirical data do you have that suggests 10,000 Jugs reps leads to competition in the playoffs?

None. It's a made up number which the whole point of all of the responses in this thread. It's an attempt to make it appear that Moffitt isn't doing his job now so that the results at the end of the season can favor Brady, Ensminger and O no matter what they are. If the results are good, those guys overcame the deficit Moffitt created. If the results are bad, it's Moffitt's fault and not their's.

Ok. Now we are on to the NCAA being the ones that say the head coach can't tell the scc to open the practice facility. This is moving along rather quckly.

He says that means the managers had it, not the player and that it's a big difference.

I mean cheeseburgers are expensive!

Can’t expect a kid in college to dish out 4 bucks for a burger.

Every kid gets five official visits, you have to cap it somewhere. At the same time they don’t preclude prospects from going anywhere on their own. It’s not absurd at all.

Please. Show me a pro who ISN'T getting 100 Jugs reps a day. Landry and Beckham should be your first clue.

Getting in deep NCAA shite for buying a hungry kid a cheeseburger is absurd. Happened to Rick Majerus. He thought is was pretty damn absurd.

Does he have access to batting cages 24/7 or is a cheeseburger the issue now? We’ve gone from batting cages to JUGS machines to O and now a cheeseburger.

This has got to be the dumbest thread I’ve ever seen.

Personal responsibility. You know the rules for unofficial visits. If you have the means to get to campus, bring $4 with you for a burger.

Pretty soon it's going to be that there aren't any cooks to make a cheeseburger at the practice facility 24/7. The stance just morphs every time a point can't be countered.

The cooks are in on it! It’s a huge conspiracy.

Good grief

Look at how the thread had evolved, if you want to call it that.

I’m like you, I signed off and went to bed like normal people but this guy.....

bullshite. The LSU WRs need 100 reps a day to stay even with their competition at the playoff level.

And no LSU football coach can order those offseason reps. That's an NCAA issue. The S&C coach can - also an NCAA issue.

See. It is not that complicated.
