Oh, no doubt there is ambiguity, splitting hairs, etc like the kid from Texas. I said that "it may not be fair" but that's where the line was drawn. It is totally disingenuous to say "oh he just attended a mini-camp, not the pre-season training camp" or that these guys are "ex-pros". They never played a regular season game under contract or were even on a regular season roster.

Also, Bediako's return amounted to only 5 games because the judge denied the injunction after his return. I think the more telling fact is that Sankey couldn't explain why Euro-league players were not deemed "professional" even though they obviously are highly paid.
