Oh no! we only had 2 offensive linemen leave early for the draft this year!
Must be because they couldn’t compete with the SEC talent so they’re going join the less talented league of the NFL

Also Devin White was one of the best LBs in the country last year.

That was fun, any hot takes you want dismantled?

Time period and context is important. Not to mention Hallman was a successful coach prior to coming to LSU. Without looking, I know he has a better overall record than Orgeron.

Don’t fricking preach to the fans you can win championships immediately then. Tell them you plan to rebuild. Rebuilding was NEVER in the discussion when he became head coach. He and Alleva flight out lied.

Les left behind a team made of up 4 top 10 classes

We were told for years the only thing holding LSU back was Les’s coaching
Minor that we went 9-4 woth embarrassing loses and mostly uninspiring wins you want to say it was a talent issue? We didn’t have the same issues as les. les didn’t lose to fricking Sun belt teams

and turning in the worst recruiting class in a decade and a half doesn’t give me a ton of confidence that this is going to happen at all.

what would the recruiting class have mattered for next year? If you're relying on your recruiting class to make or break your team, you're in trouble

No. Saban built it, Les maintained and improved it and then let it fall apart, and then left O to try to put it back together. The problems we had this year were no different than the problems we had with Les Miles the past few years. You cannot put everything on a first year coach unless it was a situation like Nick Saban who left behind a national title caliber team. Had that been the case this year and we lost 4 games, then yes you could say O broke it. But that wasn't the case

LSU played 1 fricking team that was better than them, ended up with 4 losses. How we we still blaming the past coach?

Ed orgeron said he was going to win and win fast. There was no speak of rebuild until we got embarrassed by two teams not even in the same recruiting stratosphere.

if it’s to happen “quickly”, then this class will be a part of it.

so that makes them part of the equation.

We had a shite ton of good players from Louisiana on this team

We didn’t lose to Troy or Notre Dame because of talent or depth gaps.

We lost because we were a complete shite show of a team.

moderately, but sure how that's relevant to what he did at LSU. or wouild you like me to also bring up how he did after leaving LSU. Guy couldn't even win games in high school

I never thought I'd see the day when someone honestly tried to argue Hallman was a decent coach. Some of you need a break from football

the false sense of entitlement from our fans is astounding. To put it simply, no we were not better than everyone but Alabama.

how many players from those classes transferred or were kicked off the team? How many of the players that left were from the DL and OL? It's nice to recruit good players. But keeping them on campus is pretty important if you want to argue that point

LSU is in a minor rebuild mode. The lines/linebackers were in disrepair, players weren’t correctly developed on offense, etc.

There’s a lot of work to be done.

This has been overstated and oversold by the binder folks. LSU had plenty of talent last year to outgain Alabama. How is this even possible without adequate talent. Did we just out coach them.... lol?

Orgeron's the reason a lot of those guys left.
