UW will run two or three zone reads and scrap it. that's not who we are. LSU too fast and seen too many teams run that scheme.

when the chips are down, UW goes back to the power running game

if mcevoy really does play and sort of extended time at qb, I'd be interested to see some rollout passes so LSU can't tee off on the pocket. Stave the statue will suffer broken rib sitting back there in the pocket vs. y'all

If you can ball control between the tackles, it's a game. If not, Tigers will pull away...plus a special teams TD.

Gurly and Gordon are one and two in every mock draft out there, so hardly a foregone conclusion as many of you seem to think.

Exactly. Against the 2 teams with a pulse of a defense he couldn't crack 100. But he's going to run all over LSU.

Hell yes he's good. Look at how many carries he had for 1600 yds compared to the rest of the top 10

2013 rushing leaders

Who was claiming he was going to "run all over" LSU? I wouldn't be surprised either way...62 or 162.

We'll know soon enough, so not really worth wasting too much energy over.

I don't think he'll run all over LSu at all. I'd say 108 yards on 22 carries.

He's very good and so is the O-line in front of him. We will have our hands full.

Good research. I thought we were looking at the second
Coming of Walter Peyton based on the reports from the cheese breath bunch.

That wasnt directed at badger fans. A lot of our fans are concerned ab Gordon, I'm not at all. He hasn't really done anything to cause concern. Highlight reels against St. Mary's school for the deaf and blind are all I've seen.

it's ok if it was…legitimate point and badger fans if they are truly objective should have that thought in the back of their heads too.

I definitely do.

One thing I'd say though, is he can't control who we play. Is he supposed to fall down after a 10 yard gain against umass?

he also can't' control our pitiful passing game, which has made life tough for some good wisconsin backs over the years

I know that feel ab pitiful passing game. Y'all are hands down the coolest opening game opposing fan base poster contingent ever. I think Gordon is a special back who will do big things this season and in the NFL. He's just going to be bitch slapped and have his one and only off-game of the year on Saturday

Last year, UW was way too predicable as they brought White in anytime they were passing. When Gordon was in, 80% of the time it was a run, so they keyed on him. Defenses will not have that luxury this year. McEvoy will also bring defenders off Gordon.

5 YPC wouldn't surprise me. But who's us? We don't play UNC. Or are you one of those guys who likes UNC bball, LSU football, Yankees baseball, and the Patriots? (or seahawks now)
