Patrick is fast and we have to put pressure on Tua.

Does Phillips move over and Queen take Phillips spot.

Would you link me to one that's either on this or the next page?

I'm not convinced we just sub in Queen.

I am expecting some 4-2-5 looks in the first half on 1st and 2nd downs.

I would much rather this look:

Lawrence, Fehoko, Alexander, Logan
Phillips, Divinity, Vincent/Thonrton/Anthony

Than this look:
Lawrence, Fehoko, Logan
Phillips, Queen, Divinty, Vincent/Thonrton/Anthony

At least on early downs

Not there, but after this happened there were at least four threads on one page and beyond about it.

Couple of them were titled "queen" and nothing else.

Queen is whites backup. You didn’t see us sub in queen instead of baskerhead, why would they sub divinity now?

If we’re going to go with 4 LBS I’d go:

OLB: Anthony/Thornton
MLB: Phillips
MLB: Divinity
OLB: Stevens

I think that puts the most talent on the field.

Why would we run a 4-2-5? We don't have the personnel.

We don't have the personnel, we would have DTs playing DE.

It's a wrap if they were to break the line of scrimmage.

I don’t know if we fully understand how awesome it will be to have possibly, the best defensive player in the nation, coming out 100% pissed off and energized for the second half.

idk really, but I like the idea of throwing something at them new as opposed to plug and replace. then have something different in the 2nd half when white comes in. since you have 2 weeks to prep, think you could pull something off. maybe mix it up w 4-3, 3-4, nickel

Yes, mix it up, obviously depending on down and distance. LSU has some depth, but he will certainly be missed.

There is little doubt that Queen will get more first half snaps as the result of D. White not being available.

Many good D-Line man play both inside and on the edge. It really wont matter too much. Personally I think a 4-3 is our best option. Lawrence and Fehoko at DT and depending on the distance go with our OLBs at DEs and short distances put our taller 3-4 "defensive ends" at DE

obviously we don't have guys this good but here are some examples of players who play inside and outside: (Aaron Donald, Calais Campbell, JJ Watt, Deforest Buckner)

With Hurts questionable, I say we blitz/chase Tua until we catch him or wear him out, maybe with #3 or another safety, on every pass play If we chase him hard in the first half, White will sho nuff run his azz down in the 2nd. Go Tigers!
P. S. I'd also like to see Kirkland returning punts and in the slot. Kid is electric. We need a big play. Go Tigers!

Or how about you just not click on a thread when the subject is clearly identified in the title and you're tired of reading about it.

Yeah, I'm Ok with some Stack (3-3-5), but I think 4-2 is taking too many guys outside of their element.

I don't trust the stamina of Lawrence and Feheko to get constant pressure up the field as 4-3 DEs. & Our OLB are too slight to play 4-3 DE against Alabama, they have elite OTs.

Most of those guys are generational talents with elite motors.
