So are you, judging the entire future based on the PRIOR performance.

Reality and good decision making mandate you account for past behavior as a predictor. You can choose to block out the past success that we had with an experienced signal caller if you like, I am certain it makes sense to you.

Other really talented freshmen. Once again this is the exception. Please see the comment about EVERY coach in the country trying to avoid starting an inexperienced QB.

So winning a national championship a sugar bowl and a sec championship game is burying LSU?

At least Les won a National Championship with all of his talent.

And he was the one who developed the talent to win the title since Saban ran to his dream job in 04 and the title was 07.

Bob Stoops:
A national title, seven conference titles and three other title game appearances. All on his own.

Les Miles:
Nice guy. Winning with Saban's players.

Why is Stoops getting a pass?

Because he rebuilt Oklahoma.

Shitty reason to completely give him a pass for a mediocre regular season where had far superior talent and a horrific bowl record over the past 6 years.

Does your school system know how poorly it failed in its efforts to teach you proper English and grammar?

Don't worry over my grammer, you scum sucking troll.

Worry over flipping those burgers at McDonalds and cleaning their bathrooms. That's all a low life troll like you is good for---that and shite stirring while you pretend to be a fan of LSU.

He got skull fricked by USC in a championship game

No, Oklahoma did. You are on here knighting for Miles, but you fall into the same illogical thinking pattern that his haters do. Besides, that '04 USC team was just straight up better than OU. They were all-time great.

quote:

LSU dominated em to a point where I think they had 24 yards at half

Again, sounds like the 'tards who judge Miles based on the offense's average yards per game. Yards in 1 half against the best defense in the country is seriously your measuring stick of what a good coach is? Seriously?

quote:

If you want to clown Les Miles and put him on the hotseat than we have to make fun of Bob too or we are creating a double standard.

Or you could just be smart, and realize they are both good coaches. I like Les, but his resume is nowhere near what Stoops' is at this point. Stoops is one of the best 4-5 coaches in the country. To not think so makes you retarded. To think he's a joke makes you fricking retarded.

and a waaaaaaaaay more dominate bowl resume.

I love this one. Some of you have actually convinced yourselves that winning the Peach Bowl is better than losing the NCG. Again, I like Miles, but let's not be retarded.

It is spelled grammar.

"Scum sucking" should be hyphenated.

You should say "worry about" rather than "worry over" in the two instances used above.

"Low life" is one word.

"While you pretend to be a fan of LSU" would be better as "while you pretend to be an LSU fan."

"That's all a low life troll like you is good for---that and shite stirring while you pretend to be a fan of LSU." This is punctuated improperly.

You must be skipping sixth grade English today.

In spite of the fact that you engaged in some of the most hard-core grammar nazism I've personally witnessed on this forum, I don't think anyone here is taking issue with your intellect. You do seem to be giving Stoops a bit of a pass while being unduly critical of Miles. Stoops is a good coach, but I've never been especially impressed with him.
His record is impressive. In fact, he's only lost 29 games in 11 years as an HC. Unfortunately, 6 of them were bowl games (he's 5-6 in bowls). That's a pattern that can't be ignored as a fluke. It seems as though he's far less successful when he plays a decent team outside of the Big 12.

No "great" coach should have a losing record in bowls. I honestly don't know that I'd take him over Miles.

Btw, my brother is an OU Alum and I've probably watched more OU games than any team save LSU.

Absolutely he's another Less Miles. How do you think Less was able to beat him twice? No good coach would allow that to happen, especially with the talent discrepancies between OU and OSU.

Ah, Les is a good guy.

A humorous speaker.

A good recruiter.

Here's to him hopefully silencing all his critics, including me.
