i never argued it wasnt tough, i replied to the OP that said OU would lose 4 games a year, that is freaking stupid, the SEC is not the juggernaut you make it out to be. its always strong at the top. this year 2 great teams, the rest was average.

Over the last decade (2000-2009), here's how the SEC and Pac-10 compare
Top 25 finishes: SEC- 48 Pac 10- 30
Top 20 finishes: SEC- 42 Pac 10- 25
Top 15 finishes: SEC- 35 Pac 10- 19
Top 10 finishes: SEC- 21 Pac 10- 16
Top 5 finishes: SEC- 12 Pac 10- 10
BCS Championships: SEC 5-0 5 by 3 different teams
Pac 10 1-1 1 by 1 team
Bowl Record: SEC- 48-26 (64.9%) Pac 10- 31-27 (53.4%)
BCS Bowl Record:
SEC 12-3 BCS bowls won by 5 different teams in the last six years. Pac 10 9-3 BCS bowls won by 4 different teams, but only 1 (USC) in the last 6 years.
The SEC has had 5 different teams win the conference this decade, while the Pac 10 has been dominated by USC. 6 Different SEC teams have top 5 finishes, as opposed to 3 for the Pac 10. In fact, no other team than USC has finished in the top 5 since 2000. Sounds to me like its the SEC that's deep and the PAC 10 thats top heavy.

Dude, they lost their Heisman QB who threw for double the TDs and half the INTs of the QB that took his place, their 1st round TE, and played a schedule twice as tough as LSU's.

Has Miles had a football player shot dead? Has Miles had teams starting fights in games? Has Miles had teams which required the police to come on the field to break up a riot? Has the SEC had to suspend 10s of LSU players?
Coker had that at UM and more.

I didn't say anything outside of comparing the two situations is quite different.
OU had a tougher schedule than LSU last year and lost their 2 best offensive players basically to start the season.
Stoops and Miles are both good coaches, but you can't compare the two situations. That was my point.
