According to Times Pic this morning he's been invited to their rookie camp starting Friday.

This isn't the same as signing an UDFA contract is it? I suspect he's thinking he'll earn the franchise tag just by showing up. Always worked at LSU.
For his sake, and his family's (cough, cough, boxcar), I hope not being drafted opened his eyes a little and helped him gain a little dose of humble.

Here's the Times Picayune Article on which LSU players have signed UDFA contracts and the bit about Jefferson.
You won't find me bashing any former or current Tigers but yeah, it looks like this is something different from signing a UDFA contract.

Someone sold this kid a bill of goods. The fact that anyone ever told this kid that there was any shot that he would ever be drafted should be a f'ing crime.
