So, how does LSU hold the HC, coordinators and players accountable?

The HC is paid no matter what, same with coordinators and players are bound to NIL deals mostly separate from LSU.

Head coaches job in this new year. Nobody else's. Hopefully Lane is a very good organizer and especially Alpha dog.

They all get paid NO MATTER WHAT.....unless they are released with cause.

So, basically there is very little accountability.

Exactly. No matter if they lose they still get paid.

I mean I could get fired for underperforming. The question wasn’t about my job though.

If the bad play continues and they lose 4or 5 games their will be a sacrificial lamb.It always happens in college and pro ball.Who gets canned is unknown but if they keep losing it will happen.

I was just asking the question. It seems like you understand the concept of how jobs and contacts work though, so you should be able to figure it out.

It's the greatest gig in the world. You can totally suck at your job and still get paid millions for being fired.

And Lane would have been stupid to turn that down.

No doubt..most of them are glorified gym coaches. Check out what the Washington NFL team did to lose their game today. If that is not absurdly bad coaching, there is no such thing. And they still collect huge paychecks. One of the greatest gigs ever.
