Even after all these years I'm still in awe of the disparity between Tyrann's physical stature versus his level of play. At first glance he physically doesn't look like he belongs out there. But his play says otherwise.

I know that a lot of you are unfamiliar with how rehab works. And that’s understandable.
But it’s not really the drug that’s important. Yes, some drugs are more dangerous than others, but really it’s what the dependency to the drug causes in your life. Or what needing it can cause. Some drugs are more addictive and physically dangerous than others, but addiction to anything CAN be a problem.
In this case It caused him to miss his Jr year of college football. That is incredibly serious. So whatever the chemical, that’s what the problem was. It doesn’t matter if you or I agree with that rule. It was a rule. And thankfully things are changing in that respect because weed is proven to be a lower negative risk than many drugs. Anyone can have their own opinion on that, but I trust doctors and personal experience. You DYOR on that. No sense in arguing.
I admittedly am unfamiliar with synthetic weed, so I don’t know how much more dangerous it is than regular weed.
But I know that whatever his situation is, he is successful in his life and has no issues regarding anything. Nothing negative he is doing in his life is affecting his career. I think it’s safe to assume the same in his personal life until proven otherwise. So give him some props for that, wish him well, and show a little positivity. Especially since he’s shown zero signs of serious, negative behavior in years.
Or don’t. But remember that when your own children make mistakes. Instead of being happy for him coming home, the first thing some people think about is who he hung out with as a teenager and him smoking a basically legal substance. Amazing

Can he wear #7 on defense or would Taysom have to give his number up?
I keep seeing this asked but he's never worn 7 in the NFL as far as I know.

Yeah, I’m not sure if he even wants to wear #7. I just can’t remember if the NFL allows the same number on offense and defense like the NCAA does. The Saints could have TM7 and TH7 if so.

as great as the Badger was, I think we forget about Joe Burreaux already… lol
No one is forgetting about Burrow...but Mathieu was a completely different kind of exciting. At any given moment, the guy could completely change the momentum and outcome of a game and you don't see that very often with defensive players. There haven't been many players in history that had his kind of impact when he was on the field. The guy was just always around the ball, and it was fun to watch.

Synthetic weed like K2 is very dangerous, my brother had a stroke smoking it.

I’m very sorry to hear that. And I hope your brother recovered.
Am I correct in assuming that synthetic weed was a popular substitute to weed because it was legal and more easily available than regular weed? Or because Delta 8 was unavailable at the time? Was it essentially a weed high people were trying to duplicate?

Damn. Congratulate the guy and look forward to seeing him play. So many negative nellies in this thread. Goodness!

I think your math is off here
Even if these people got on the straight and narrow and now earn a respectable $40k (they don’t), let’s say 10 of them, that’s still only $800k. And over 10 years, $8M.
