The "Harris got his shot versus Auburn" meme is just the dumbest thing in the world.
Jennings has gotten many, many, many shots and he is not good. In fact, statistically, he is among the worst in the nation (worst in a few categories).
Harris played well in two games and poorly in one on the road.
The ONLY way for a young QB to learn is to PLAY.
Harris must play, and be STUCK with for a few games no matter what he does. That means A&M. That means the Bowl game.
That means several games to start the year next year.

If he is given the same small sample of plays as Jennings, we won't see much better results.

Obviously the playbook should be adapted for him. Much more single back, shotgun, pistol, zone read and spread looks.
That's what a smart coaching staff would do.

Do you realize how hard headed Les is... He has two problems... BIG ONES... Jennings confidence is shaken and Harris' confidence has been shattered from the AU game... So Miles has a dilemma... He will start and play jennings until he is confident that he is again comfortable.... Jennings is HIS guy and Harris will sit... I would be amazed if Harris sees the field......
