So Darron Thomas is in a car...

rented by an AD employee...Driven by a now-suspended cornerback...who was pulled over doing 118mph...and who they have on tape at the scene...who was asked if they had any weed...and who answered, "We smoked it all,"...
But he's all set to play in the game on 9/3?

The car wasn't rented by an AD employee to start off with. DT denies smoking the weed. So you have DT riding in a car with a player who was driving 18? And you think that warrants suspension?

Chip ain't going to suspend him. Heck, he was also with Masoli when they were pulled over with weed in the glovebox. Darron is the best leader Chip has ever seen, but didn't say anything about his luck as a passenger, but it has been impressive.

Of course it makes sense. DT was just a passenger. He was never even remotely sited for anything or anything. And as far as that "we smoked it all" comment by Cliffy, at the end of that Video you see Cliffy filling in the cop more what he was referring to and who the real one was smoking it. He was Cliffy's cousin, who is not a UO player. I Chuckle seeing LSU fans trying to dig at something that is not there.

And why was DT in that car many LSU fans may ask? Was it to party or get high? Nope. DT just needed a ride back from Airport after flying to ESPN and doing a media car wash there. DT does not own a car. He is too poor to own a car. He has to bum a ride wherever he can find one.

Can't punish the guy for an alleged incident. Can't prove he was high and there is no harm in being a passenger in a car.
