A full strength LSU vs a full strength Coastal Carolina favors LSU

from Vegas Insider:

When the field was down to eight, Arkansas was the favorite in 2025 CWS odds, with LSU a close second. Then LSU beat Arkansas in an opening game, so LSU jumped to the favorite. And Coastal Carolina has climbed to the second choice, with the field down to four.

Even without the rain delay it’s still unequal not sure how you could say otherwise.

The other bracket gets and extra day between the SR round and the CWS. But other than playing 4 games in one day, which to my knowledge, the CWS hasn't done in at least 50 years...maybe ever, what change in the format would you propose?

LSU has won 7 CWS (second most in the history of the sport) They've played for the championship game/series 8 times (most of any program in the last 40 years). Throughout that entire time the format has been more or less the same. Yet, we still have fans whining "it's just so unfair!!!"

Coastal will be handed a shitty hand if they have to face the powerhouse.
