LSU objectively has more talent, therefore there isn’t an argument that Ole Miss has the better players. But talent doesn’t always translate to being the better team.

Probably, but I also feel like it doesn't matter as much as getting this generation of players to buy in and not just collect their checks and quit. And the more hyped up they are, the more likely it is for them to do so. That's what made Indiana's team last year so good, discipline.

While I agree, I still want to see Trinidad without Lane/Weiss calling plays for him.

Lane had better player in 2024 at Ole Piss than he had last year, probably the most talented team Ole Miss ever fielded.
I would venture to say outside QB, which is a big one, this year's LSU team has at least as good of talent as last year's Ole Miss team on paper.
But I say that without having seen most of them play.

Kiffin had 2 OL drafted during his entire tenure at Ole Miss, of which they led the SEC in rushing yards. He could have 3 OL drafted off his 2026 LSU team alone.

quote:The OL will be improved with a better STARTING 5 (And Wolford-Cregg UP COACHING) but the depth is no better than the last few years. They have to stay healthy or it will turn into another shite show!
However, it's a whole new system on offense with a ton of new players. They have to gel and play well within his system.
