problem is Alleva is not really in charge- he does not have the real authority- that belongs to the board- nothing has changed at LSU
Now if Lombardi decides to get involved....

Love how many say that college football is a business. Guess what Alleva, business is a 2 way street. I am not supporting a poor product by traveling to Atlanta.

Its a business when they raise prices in good times
When things suck and they need to sell tickets....well then its about supporting the team

Fans who only support the team when they are winning do not have the right to call themselves fans. Please go support some other team. I go to games to support LSU and have fun. I really don't want these fair-weather fans in our program.

I am going to the game, but I am not going to buy "300" level seats. I'm sorry, but there should be plenty of good seats in that dome for that game. I am going to buy tickets from some local with good seats, I'm not gonna get myself stuck with crappy seats.

can't you support the team from home?
are you really going to gripe about people not wanting to spend their money and waste their NYE watching a team who clearly does not give a frick?

Secret to selling more units:
Provide a better product!
Source: Honda Motor Company.
(That said, I'm about to buy a new GMC 4wd truck.)

u can; but if you would have gone to game but you're mad at the coach for not doing what you would do if you were coach, then no.
does that make any sense?

I've been to every bowl game, but just decided this team wasn't worth spending money on a trip to Atlanta to watch. They gave up not the fans
I'd rather spend my new year's eve in New Orleans

yes. because u go to games to SUPPORT your team and have fun; not when it's a guaranteed win.
there is no proof they do "not give a frick." Just because they're not winning doesnt' mean they're not trying. Having a good crowd will give them something to play for.

A winning LSU team, and seats to a game are already sold out to season ticket holders. If there are any stragglin tickets left for the low class people like myself, then they are crappy seats.
So now LSU is not winning, and its obvious the season ticket holders are not interested because if they were there would not be any tickets for sale. So they want us low people to buy tickets, but they are still terrible seats.
If they would sell decent seats in this time of "non-interest" then I would buy from them. I can't believe the nerve of this administration.

I think the problem w/ most fans is they feel the coaches have major underperformed and they are not happy about it.
Say what you want about QB issues and Perrilloux. But everybody new about Perrilloux's propensity to get into trouble during recruitment. There was no effort to get another qb ready last year. Furthermore, the QB was not nearly our biggest problem this year. It was defense. W/ a middle of the road SEC defense, rather than the worst SEC defense, we are 9-3. And for all the criticism of JLee we usually had 24 or more points in the games that he started and finished.

I went to the peach bowl a few years back fresh off getting smashed by UGA. how is that "only in the good times?
The decision to not go has nothing to do with a disappointing record. More to do with a disappointing effort

2005 team finished in the top 5. i'd say that was "good times" catagory
don't confuse effort with poor execution. we got some younguns on this team. Les made a poor decision with the co-DCs but hopefully he will change that.

poor execution results in losses to UGA, Bama, UF
poor effort results in getting your arse handed to you on senior day in TS to Ole Miss. Poor effort results in losing to a pathetic Arkansas team

looked like the mistakes made all season. poor QB play and no pass defense. Looked the same to me all season (except for the Bama game)
