It's amazing we are this far along in the addition and there has still been no official number on the new capacity of TS.

Yeah and it's only been like a week since Rhett Butler...that's his real name lol...from TAF finally told us that there will be 66 suites in the new addition. People have been guessing at that number forever.

Miles was throwing around numbers around 103k a long time ago. Apparently they've known for a while, but for whatever reason never made it official.

I can understand not knowing how much SRO will add to the capacity but at least you should have a concrete number. How are they going to sell tickets not knowing how many to sell.

I've said this before, but I think someone at LSU had the "bright idea" to titillate us fans by not releasing the new total capacity.

It's working?

So Alleva is now saying Tiger Stadium capacity will be over 100,000

Agreed. People leaving early to beat the traffic hit some of the worst traffic.

I just turn on the post game show, relax, drive, and beat you home by an hour or two.

Exactly. We stay in the stadium even after the final gun, walk leisurely back to the tailgate/cars, turn on the post game call-in show, eat and drink, BS, etc.
If you just decide to relax and just tailgate some more after the game, it's a real stress reducer.
Another thing I do beforehand is to set up the cable recorder to tape the game and any post game shows I might miss while on the way home in traffic.

There are places to park that are easier to get out of and get on the interstate after the game as well, if you don't mind walking.
One is on the Nicholson Extension (pointed Southward :)
Another is off Highland (going towards downtown), where you can get on the interstate farther up (if you don't mind the neighborhoods :)

Step 1: Stay the entire game
Step 2: Walk to your tailgate
Step 3: Drink a few beers
Step 4: Leave
Step 5: Make it to Lafayette in an hour
Step 6: Don't freaking take Highland road or even Nicholson for that matter, ya retards.

Are you complaining? That's it. Joe Alleva just upped your Tradition Fund by another $200...

You want another one, pal?

I think it is gonna make the place look pretty damn intimidating. God I can't wait to play Bama at home with 105000 fans cheering that are wasted and won't leave at halftime.

I think we would be better served by decreasing the number of seats and upgrading the remaining seats. Chairbacks, more leg room, and shorter rows.

Exactly. Now we'll treat away fans the same we've been treated for years. Put a few hundred next to their band and the other 6,000 up top. It's about time

I wish we'd spread them out to the 4 corners of the upper decks, like Bama does. Instead, they'll still get about 1,000 seats in the lower bowl and the rest will be in the east upper and the new south upper deck. We are WAY overdue in moving them though.
