SMU got beat by North Texas last week by more than 3 TDs...That should answer your question

TCU gets a lot of name brand recognition these days which gives them a boost. I think they’re usually overrated- but SMU is really that bad

North Texas is fielding what might be their best team ever this season. I’m not saying that they are playoff caliber but they aren’t bad.

TCU has had this problem since entering big boy college football. When they have the experience, they do really good, when they don't, it's usually a sloppy looking mess of a year. It especially hits hard at QB. Next year they'll be really good, this year they'll most likely lose to every ranked team and Texas on the road, and either one of Iowa St, Baylor, or Oklahoma St.

I never liked Patterson. Usually good ds, but I wouldn't be able to stand his constant sweating and looking like a pig.
