This is fantastic and all, but Watford looked garbage tonight. Couldn't beat anyone off the dribble, took forced shots just to try and get involved, and made lots of rough decisions. He's not supposed to look this way considering the hopes everyone locally and nationally had for this kid.

Wade didn't seem to think that in his press conference. He thought he played fine, especially on defense. Aggies defensive scheme made it tough for Trendon to get too involved tonight.

It just might be a little silly to call out the one bad game he’s had all year when we beat a good SEC team by 23.

Just sayin

Our fans never seem to disappoint. Trendon was eliminated by a&m, gonna occasionally happen. Thats why we have other guys

A&M packed the paint not allowing LSU to get inside which is Watford’s strength this is why Cam went off he was open on the outside all night. Days had a good night too because of this. Teams are going to start keying on Cam to slow him down and Watford will benefit the most from this.

He’s also a key part of breaking the press. He spent the whole game in the backcourt with Javonte, He sees over the defense and doesn’t get sped up by the pressure. I don’t think he’s 100%, but he definitely helped tonight.

Look, there are lots of positives to this game. Days and Thomas primarily and then Manning/Leblanc off the bench hustling and playing good defense. Just because we won by 20+ it doesn't mean that we shouldn't find fault in certain areas.

Don't you think that Will Wade will use this game to be a teaching lesson for Watford and Smart? When teams play like A&M tonight, they have to realize their place. They can't force the offense just because they want to be involved. If we wouldn't have tried to play 1 on 1 at times and moved the ball, the motion in the offense would have opened up opportunities for them.

My point is, this team was bailed out tonight by how good Thomas is. Watford and Smart better figure out how to be more efficient in this type of game when Thomas can't go for 30, or they're not helping their draft stock or this team get anywhere in March.

Watford looked horrible. He forced too many 3 point shots. I don’t get why Wade is not developing the big man remaining on the rooster? We will need a solid interior presence on night of which shots aren’t falling. His current offensive strategy will yield only limited success in my opinion.

Coach seemed pleased with their play. Every player on this team can score. All players will not be hitting their shots every night.
He mentioned that Gaines, who has not shown a lot of offense in games, has been very good in practice.

It’s not like Thomas’s performance was such a huge outlier. He’s good for 20 pts. Smart and Watford’s performances were big time outliers in the other hand and are way more than capable of making up the 10 extra points we got from Thomas tonight.

Too many 3 point shooting and not attacking the ball through the interior which are far easier shots.

Well you’re quickly giving the impression that no one will listen to you the rest of basketball season.

Just like the “fans” who were terrified about the team after we barely beat Nicholls

This isn’t Watford’s job. He is a slashing Wing that can handle the ball. His job is to get the ball and drive to the hoop. The guys that are going to have to do the dirty work down low are Days, Wilkinson, Leblanc and the rest of the role playing bigs. I do agree any three Watford takes unless wide open is a bad shot.

Days is turning into a true stretch 4 right I front of our eyes and I think he is making himself some money.

Watford is the State of Alabama's all time leading rebounder in high school, maybe he should play a little closer to the bucket, although he did have 5 defensive rebounds last night - 0 offensive
