SLU Aaron Schwanz expected to join LSU as analyst

LSU: Southeastern Louisiana (FCS) linebackers / special teams coordinator Aaron Schwanz is expected to join the LSU staff source tells FootballScoop. We expect Schwanz’ role to be as an analyst.

Schwanz spent the 2013 season at Wisconsin, (first season Aranda was DC) where he was a graduate assistant working with the Badgers’ outside linebackers. Schwanz contributed to a defense that ranked top 10 nationally in total defense (7th), scoring defense (6th) and rushing defense (5th).

everyone is always saying we need to increase our shadow staff and now that we are doing that the guys we are hiring aren't good enough
yet nobody even knows exactly who the coaches are or how good they are.

I imagine if the Aranda connection was omitted and simply the SLU position coach was listed we would be about 5 pages deep in hate and venom by now.

If he worked under Aranda, I suspect if he was garbage Aranda would've said so. It's more likely Aranda thought he had potential.
