Yeah the common denominator is that we won all of those games so what?

It's not how you start it's how you finish. Just ask anyone that's played us with an L for that week for your answer.

Are we speaking English or GUMP??????

Since the qb that can pass only played 12 plays vs 47 for the non passing qb not really an accurate comparison.

How did those first downs work against Ga?

42-10. I know that sucks but I guess we will have to live with it.

Please link me to where I have called him a hero?

Being a better qb than JJ doesnt make him a hero or a great qb just better than JJ and that line is very long as it is!

UGA Coaching Staff knew fully well that they could exploit Jefferson as evidenced by the 1st half.

Bama will do the same. We may have needed that first of half of football against UGA for a good omen.

That's your opinion as well as a few sore vaginas on this board. They BOTH suck. Thankfully Les tells dumbfricks, like you to suck it and makes decisions without a thought for you.

OK. So long as the outcome is the same IDGAF if the Bammers win the fantasy game.

Definitely Les' decision but 30 yards passing and no first downs may bite him in the arse vs Bama!

Not like it is the first time JJ has put up those kind of numbers and it may not be the last!

I agree. Lee played a terrible game. JJ came in and did just enough to win, leading us to around 200 yards and 9 points. If JJ had not played that game, we probably don't win.

But, the question was about the slow starts the last couple of games, not the Alabama game. JJ played better as the game went on and the team gained momentum. But, he was not the spark nor was he the steady hand that established our offense. It was TM7 in both games that got the whole team going.

I still think that JJ is the better option, overall, but I would love to see JLee sprinkled in some to give a different look. I am resigned to the fact that it is all JJ all the time now, and I sincerely hope it works out on January 9th.

For the record, I don't think that JJ throws those 2 INT's against Alabama, either.

Yes, I am glad that we won 42-10, but 5-12 for 30 yards is far from sufficient for a championship QB. But, Les knows best. If he thinks that is better than what Lee could have done, I will go with it. We are 13-0 and I'm not complaining about the overall results.

JJ struggled. There was a lot more struggling going on in that first half to hang it all or even most of it on JJ. Our O line was pure garbage in the first quarter. Backed up to our own end zone it was a "smeer the q...." game going on back there. For most of the 1st qtr it looked like the D had not practiced all week. No one looked at film, it seemed. It was pure ugly everywhere. The team looked like they were sleep walking. The fans were not much better. It has been a long time since there was that little energy at an LSU game. JMO.

I trust Les. Just look at his bowl record. We need both QBs so I hope JL has not cashed it in. Yes, JJ has to be better. BUT the ENTIRE TEAM needs to come out fast and strong.

I am not going to get into a JJ/JL debate...they are useless and pointless.

I don't disagree with any of this, really. The whole team was struggling at the beginning against Georgia. My point is that JJ did not turn things around. It was TM7. JJ played pretty badly the whole game.

I am done with the JJ vs. JLee debate, too. I am happy as long as we are winning. But, the question was asked about the slow starts. I think that with JLee, you have the ability to see a play action pass for 15 yards on first down, instead of a 2 yard run up the middle by Ware. That changes things up.

But, I'm pulling for LSU and JJ on January 9th. Hope he plays great!

This site is so ridiculous. So the only games we had slow starts were when JJ was QB. I'm guessing you all think we came with an offensive explosion against Oregone, MSU, Kentucky, etc...

Let's just keep twisting evidence to fit the "JJ sucks" agenda.

It makes sense, and while I totally agree with you regarding JJ's inability to execute a functional passing game, in the UGA game.... it was more on our O lines being outplayed at the LOS. Sure, JJ could have helped things with some completed passes, our O line created no holes or running lanes. They seemed really flat, as did the Def. IMO

Our OL is the best in the country, and has been for years. Anyone who thinks it's their fault that JJ cant make a decision, throw it away, and/or not take a sack is fooling themselves. I saw Ware miss at least one block that took JJ down.

the first half vs UGA was the culmination of all the JJ fears -- we looked helpless out there.

all that said, there is only one game left on the schedule and JJ is the anti-Bama.

For some reason, we have been coming out REAL predictable in the first quarter and then we hope that JJ can make the play on 3rd down. When he can't, we have to punt.

I think you're right...hopefully, we will have some new wrinkles to start the game against Bama and not let them shut us down completely at the beginning.
