quote:

It’s just obvious he is a first time OC

LSU should never ever be a training ground for coordinators. Kelly himself said he came here because we are “elite in every way”. Why on God’s green earth would you ever hire an unproven coordinator.

He seems to have a level of loyalty that is detrimental to success. Loyal to the QB even when his arse should be on the bench when he’s having an off day. Bringing in staff that he’s friends with. Getting rid of current staff that were proven to be successful. Screw all that. The goal here is to WIN GAMES. Not form yourself a boys club.

Can’t remember the situation, but there was one play that had pre snap motion to the middle then post snap multiple backs and WR converging on the same spot (and drawing just about all defensive eyes to said spot) and then handing off inside to said spot. That was a gem of a 0 yd gain.

“I personally think Kelly over rules the OC and DC on a regular basis...”

When? I never see his lips moving when they show him on TV, just a blank stare into space as if he’s composing his post game statements in his head.

If you are limited tempo is more of your friend. There is zero excuse for how slow we play on offense
