You still haven't said one thing about a solution. Just crying how he's dumb. I guess he should be working for you cause you're so much smater than him.
The man would not last long in my organization because we are held accountable for our actions and one big lucky break does not hold you over for six months not to mention a career. A professional strives to provide quality at all times and surrounds themselves with quality people to assist in that endeavor. He does not show me the ability to provide either. If he only provided the second one, I would give him a pass.
The fact is, I would fire him the second time he opened his mouth because the first time I would have thought that he was joking...he must have been acting because no one is that dumb.

Come on RT, he doesn't think that and you're helping frick my thread up. He's just getting bogged down with all the Saban love and Miles hate.
I ask a question and all these guys can do is say Saban was better. News flash he's not going to be coaching LSU football. So what do we do? Bring in another guy and talk about how he's not as good as Saban?
I had no intention in fricking up your thread. It's just that the guy can't seem to post a damn thing on this board without mentioning his disdain for Saban.
In all honesty, I agree with what you're trying to do here. Les Miles has his faults, so does every other HC in CFB. And, there is no guarantee that the administration at LSU will make a sure-fire HC hire that will have better results than what Miles has had at LSU. So, in the absence of guarranteed success in the replacement of Les Miles, things should probably stay "as-is" until such time as Miles proves that he can no longer lead the program in a positive direction.

I guess they inherited similar situations when they came to lsu.
No they didn't. Saban left Miles with Nothing at Linebacker, typical Saban..never signed a draftable Linebacker at LSU. And Zero depth on an already thin OL.
Gerry Dinardo left Saban with the a complete Linebacker Corp, the best WR at LSU maybe ever, Jarvis & Howard Green..Dom Davis & Toefield, 3 NFL QBs..the list goes on.

Try to look at it with some intelligence.
Oh....OK I'm lyng about the above...Look it the frick up yourself.

Ok I'm with you (not sure about DelRio) you think we can land those guys? I only ask b/c (repeating my repeat)if Les is who many on here say he is, then the AD will most likely not make those hires.

I'd be happy with Muschamp, Patterson, Del Rio...
I like the list! There are circumstances that could keep all of them from pursuing a job at LSU, but it is a good start to a quality list of candidates.

The article about the guy training JJ and focusing on footwork, if it works, will cure a lot of ills we had last year
Yeah, in the spring game, we saw it hasn't done jack shite to cure very many ills at all. . .

Max you and your buddies say Les is the dumbest cat in the SEC, so if that's so then how can our AD allow him to remain our head coach? Seriously, stop being a prick for a min and answer a question. If Miles sucks as bad as you say he does, and you're just John Q, then how does the AD not know this?
Posted on 6/8/10 at 12:20 pm to Sammich
So you think that lsu was in better shape in 2000 than we were in 2005.

His $20 million buyout has nothing to do with it
Posted on 6/8/10 at 12:21 pm to Jaydeaux
AD has already put the crosshairs on Miles. If he has another season with major brain farts and a poor record, he's gone. See AD's letter to fans for publicity of this.
AD's not going to pull the trigger after this year, but fired the shot over Les' bow.

Hondick, its ok if you don't know what I'm talking about just don't try and pretend to. He's training with the guy now, this summer fool. Next time just say, "I haven't heard that, was this before the spring game or something recent"

Absolutely not. Every top tier college coach and at least half the coaches in the NFL would give their left nut to come to exciting, cosmopolitan Baton Rouge and be subjected to the insane berating that inevitably happens whenever LSU's delusional fanbase doesn't get championship caliber teams year after year.
This is an absurd position. Any quasi-rational head coaching candidate would quickly deduce that LSU is a desirable job. LSU is a member of the nation's premiere conference, has a proud tradition, pays a premium salary, has impeccable facilities, enjoys tremendous fan support, and - most importantly - has an uncommonly fertile recruiting base. Moreover, the head coaching job at any powerhouse school entails wild expectations and the potential for harsh criticism.
It absolutely galls me when LSU fans act as if the school could not attract another elite coach. Of course it could. The notion that potential head coaches will be dissuaded from coming by Miles' treatment is an antiquated vestige of the 1960's and 1970's. CFB has changed tremendously over the last three decades. No coaching candidate expects blind allegiance from a hiring institution.

If you think no one's worked with JJ before the Spring game on his footwork, then you don't know shite about the subject. JJ's elevator doesn't make the top floors. . .

I love how you think posting "Solve the problem then with one message board post or shut up cause Les Miles is perfect" proves anything. You keep talking about top 5 recruiting classes just like you all used to talk about top 5 finishes and 10 win seasons, why don't you talk about the latter two anymore and how many times have we had top 5 classes in the last 3 years?

Say something Tigerbait don't be a pussy. So you think the only reason he's still here is the buy out? Ok, maybe that's true. How do you see it playing out?
You can just sit back and pick out bits and blast them that's what most on here do.
I just want us to get better. Saying Miles isn't as good as Saban doesn't help me.
